FINANCIAL POLICIES

For our patients with dental insurance, as a courtesy to you, we are happy to file your claim. The estimated portion from your insurance company is not a guarantee of payment. Your estimated amount is due in full at the time services are rendered.

Your insurance plan is an agreement between you and your insurance company. If your insurance company fails to make payment on your claim, the balance will become your responsibility. If payment is made on your claim and it is less than we originally estimated, then the remaining balance, in total, will become your responsibility.

We accept most dental PPO insurances listed below and Virginia Medicaid (Smiles for Children). Most private insurance policies vary greatly; we can only ESTIMATE your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion or co-payment must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will file your claim for benefits and allow 45 days for them to render payment. After 60 days, the remaining portion after insurance or non-payment will be billed out to you. If you have any questions, our courteous team is always available to assist you.
